Special Notice
Owing to Covid 19 all sessions at the Riverside Arts Centre, in compliance with government guide lines, ceased on Wednesday 18th March.2020. Since when, starting Tuesday 24th March, all sessions have been conducted via Skype.
Owing to the continuing uncertainty surrounding the disease we have with regret cancelled all further sessions at the Riverside Arts Centre for the remainder of the year, these will continue to be conducted via skype with an additional session on Thursday evenings.
Remaining Hexads 2020. A run of six week sessions is referred to as a Hexad.
With the new changes, and if all runs to schedule, the dates of the remaining 2020 Hexads left look like this:
- 6th HEXAD Tuesday 11th August – Thursday 17th September
- 7th HEXAD Tuesday 22nd September – Thursday 29th October
- 8th HEXAD Tuesday 3rd November – Thursday 3rd December
Christmas Break: Last evening Thursday 3rd December 2020

VENUES, EVENINGS and TIMES
All sessions are conducted exclusively via Skype and are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and now Thursday evenings, at 7.30pm till 9.30pm.
It is our policy to restrict numbers to around ten or less per session. However, we are prepared to consider the creation of further sessions if these numbers are exceeded.
We do not offer a drop-in service, all Skype attendance is by prior arrangement only.
Dhyana Yoga (Meditation)
Dhyana Yoga may not be suitable for everyone and so we offer non-paying sessions by way of an introduction to those having shown an interest. These sessions are by arrangement only and tend to be held on Thursday evenings. Please contact us for details.

Information for Home Participation
The best conditions for practice is a well ventilated, warm and quiet environment.
A mat is not necessary, but do have available two blankets or the equivalent in single duvets or a combination of both; one to lay on, the other to cover yourself.
Always wear loose comfortable clothing appropriate to the season, and avoid heavy meals at least two hours prior to class.

You will need to have the Skype facility installed on your computer or device, at which point ring us on Skype and we will confirm your connection and booking.

DONATIONS
The Sunbury Yoga and Hermeneutic Society is a Not-for-Profit-Organisation and the recommended donation of £50.00 per Hexad is made voluntarily. All donations, whatever the amount are gratefully accepted. Non-contribution does not mean exclusion from session participation. Regrettably donations once received cannot be refunded.
FUTURE AIMS CONCERNING THE SUNBURY RIVERSIDE ARTS CENTRE
It is our intention to remain both connected and affiliated to the Riverside Arts Centre with whom we have had a long and profitable association. Yearly membership of £15.00 to the Sunbury Yoga and Hermeneutic Society includes membership of the Sunbury Riverside Arts Centre.
